Frequently Asked Questions

What is Jessica Griffin Fitness & Wellbeing?

Jessica Griffin Fitness & Wellbeing (JGF) offers strength, mobility, and feel-good fitness for real life. You’ll find supportive live classes (in-person and online) and an On-Demand membership with workouts you can do at home, on your schedule. Everything is designed to be practical, sustainable, and midlife-friendly, with clear coaching and options to meet you where you’re at.

Who are your workouts/classes best for?

JGF is a great fit if you want workouts that are:

  • Midlife-friendly (strength, mobility, core support, and recovery all matter here)
  • Beginner-welcoming, even if it’s been a while
  • Flexible and adaptable, with options and modifications always available
  • Focused on feeling stronger, steadier, and more capable in everyday life

If you’re someone who’s tired of “no pain, no gain” energy and want something more supportive (but still effective), you’re in the right place.

Do I need fitness experience to start?

Nope. You don’t need to be “in shape” to begin. You just need a willingness to start where you are. I’ll coach alignment, offer modifications, and help you build confidence as you go. Many members join after a long break and are surprised by how quickly they feel stronger and more connected to their bodies.

What if I have an injury, chronic pain, or I’m postpartum/perimenopausal?

You’re not alone — and it’s exactly why JGF programming includes options and a “work with your body” approach.

That said, online fitness isn’t medical care. Please check with your healthcare provider before starting (or returning to exercise), especially if you’re dealing with an injury, chronic pain, pregnancy/postpartum recovery, pelvic floor symptoms, dizziness, or any medical condition.

Once you’re cleared, you’re encouraged to:

  • Choose the most supportive option (lighter weights, smaller range, slower pace)
  • Take breaks as needed
  • Email me if you want help choosing a starting point

What should I do if I feel discomfort during a workout?

Always listen to your body.

  • Stop if something feels sharp, sudden, or “not right”
  • Modify (reduce range, slow down, lower load, or choose a different option)
  • If discomfort continues, pause the workout and consider checking in with a qualified healthcare provider

If you ever experience symptoms like chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath, or anything that feels alarming, stop immediately and seek medical attention.

What’s your refund/cancellation policy?

Here’s the policy in one place:

On-Demand Memberships (includes 7-day free trial)

  • No refunds are offered for On-Demand memberships.
  • We offer a free 7-day trial so you can explore before being charged.
  • Cancel before the trial ends if you don’t want to continue.
  • If you cancel after billing, you keep access until the end of your billing period, but no partial refunds are issued.

Class Registrations (In-Person Series)

  • Full refund if you cancel before your class start date.
  • No refunds after the first class, except in cases of major injury or serious illness that prevents participation (documentation may be requested).

Drop-In Bookings (In-Person or Zoom)

  • Full refund if you cancel 12+ hours before class.
  • Cancellations less than 12 hours before class are not refundable, except in cases of major injury or serious illness (documentation may be requested).

Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Can I make up a missed class?

Yes, whenever possible, subject to availability. Email  and I’ll let you know the options.

I’m not receiving emails — what should I do?

This is usually fixable in a couple of steps:

Still not seeing anything? Email   and I’ll help you sort it out.

Check your Spam/Junk folder (important emails sometimes land there).

If this is your first order with JGF, MailPoet may send an email asking you to confirm your email address. Until you confirm, you may not receive important emails related to your purchase (class details, challenge info, access links, updates).

Mark any JGF email as “Not spam” and add   to your contacts/safe sender list.
